What do you prefer? I like the studio display, but the design of that Imac, just stunning…

Because the Studio Display will simply outlive any iMac. You don’t have to throw it away once it’s time for an upgrade as you do with an iMac.
You also have the versatility of connecting multiple sources to it and it’s much better build than the iMac.

I meant if you need a bigger screen for your laptop, you can connect it to the Studio Display, you can’t use the iMac as an external monitor.

Ohh yeah, absolutely. And that’s where a KVM would come in handy - like the CalDigit TB4 (I swear this is not an ad lol) - allowing you to toggle computers without unplugging and plugging, like with a MBP and a Mac Mini.
I think an iMac is not a great deal in the long run - I’ve always been a fan of modularity and an All-in-one is the opposite of that.
And once they discontinued Target Display Mode it was game over.

what’s the added value of mini led?
Richer colors. Deeper blacks and just overall pop in the image. I like it on my iPad Pro M2. I watch HDR videos from time to time so it would probably look amazing on a display the size of the studio.

Richer colors. Deeper blacks and just overall pop in the image. I like it on my iPad Pro M2. I watch HDR videos from time to time so it would probably look amazing on a display the size of the studio.
