I believe the 20xx and 21xx models were the last ones that came with it officially

It’s the other way around, the 20XX was the first to come with them, and older models got them in firmware version 3.00 along with the new PS3 logo and startup. I personally like the pre-3.00 boot animation; it feels more like the other Sony consoles released at that time

You have an Intel Mac. Those are known for overheating and trouble with emulation. I’m pretty sure the person who posted this is using an M1

Maybe you can install EvilNat overclocked firmware and use more PC power

Overclocking the emulator? It won’t really do much because the emulator already included those features
