I’m trying to decide if I should upgrade my 13 Pro Max… the 16 Pro Max seems kind of underwhelming?
It’s likely to stay underwhelming for a while. Most phones today have more processing power than most people need; for the average user, even an iPhone 12 would work just fine. The changes from year to year are small, and many updates rely more on software than hardware improvements (e.g., to use a specific X feature, you need at least the X iPhone model).

Just get the 15 lol
My 15 PM has almost everything they announced for the new phones except the fancy camera button and slow mo 4K. For the first time in a while, I don’t feel like I’m missing out by not upgrading.

Still have my 13 Pro. Just needs a new battery. I’m tempted to upgrade anyway because my work covers the cost and I’m due for an upgrade, but it really doesn’t feel necessary.
I love my 13, but iOS 17 seems to put a lot of strain on it here and there. I went to take a picture of a mural while driving and it reset all my apps.
