It’s funny that they pulled the iPhone 14 Pro Max from their website right away, so you couldn’t compare it to the 15 Pro Max.
They were too similar. But they added the Action Button.
I’d buy a 15 pro max just for that USB C port so I don’t have to deal with lightning cables.
I haven’t plugged my iPhone into anything in about 3 years. I’m only using wireless charging.
I usually plug mine in while in the car. Car play really heats up the phone and I find the wireless charging pad in my car doesn’t work well. I also plug it in when I need to charge faster before leaving the house.
My 13 pro max used to easily last me two days on a charge. Now not so much, but it has never run out on me before. So I only charge it on the MagSafe charger by my bed. In the car, it’s also all wireless, so I guess I don’t think about it anymore.
What if my 13 Pro gets damaged and I try to get a replacement under my AppleCare+ that covers accidental damage?
They still have express replacement stock for iPhones until they’re considered vintage. I recall hearing about someone getting an express replacement for an iPhone 6 in 2021.
What was your point? I shared the screenshot to show what I was originally pointing out. You’re not comparing the same models here.
Your original comment says they are too identical, when they are not. I’m not trying to fanboy, but the 15 pro max had quite a few improvements that actually improve the experience compared to the 14 pro max.
USB-C
Smaller bezels compared to the iPhone X
Action button
5x camera zoom
And it’s the only iPhone to get Apple features.
Fair enough. I’m not trying to fanboy either, and I see your point. I just feel like the devices look too identical because the designs have been mostly the same for almost five years.
If the iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 were all laid side by side, front or back. There isn’t much difference. Minor differences exist, like the action button and larger camera lenses. I hoped for more design changes. (Think about the first iPhone, the iPhone 5, the iPhone X, then the iPhone 15. It’s like they went back to the iPhone 5, but with an upgraded screen).
USB-C is a great addition. However, I’m not a fan of the Action Button. I’d rather they recess the camera lenses instead. That’s just my personal opinion, but that doesn’t mean others can’t enjoy their new devices.
I was just hoping for something that brought more excitement. Apple features sound cool, but I’ll wait to see how that unfolds.

Yeah, I miss when tech constantly innovated like the Galaxy S8/iPhone X. Not much has changed since then.

Am I crazy? I can’t find the iPhone 15 pro on their website??
If you live near an Apple Store, the old Pro usually costs $100-200 less during the transition between when the new phones are announced and when they actually hit the shelves.
