Better to stick with a carrier like AT&T since they provide decent trade-in value but lock you in for 36 months.

I’ve had Androids and iPhones back and forth since 2009. Just 3 weeks ago, my last Android had a motherboard failure (for the second time in a year) and I gave up on them. The cash has been tight, so I chose the 13 and so far I’m happy with it. Hopefully, it can last me a few years before I get something new, but I wish I could have waited and got the 14 because it’s going to be way cheaper oh well.

I’ve noticed a lot of people with 13s now deciding not to upgrade. I have a 13PM and plan to upgrade for USB C, the camera, even if it’s the same as the 15s, and I’ll get $1,000 off through the carrier. I was just waiting to see what the carrier deals were to make my decision this year.

Nothing wrong with my iPhone 13 other than the battery which is pretty bad these days, realistically I could use it for another year. But the iPhone 16 looks like a great upgrade. With a better camera, Apple features, and just better specs, it seems like the best upgrade since the 13. Plus, I love the new pink color; I won’t forgive them for the so-called 13 ‘pink’ . Apple is also giving me £220 credit for a trade-in. I’m really thinking about going for it. Any tech experts out there who can give me advice? Should I stay with the 13 for another year or upgrade now?

Eh, the 13 will spiritually survive another year in the form of the 14, which is still selling at the same price that the 13 was and isn’t much different at all (besides the higher binned A15 and satellite stuff).
