I just had to update the APN settings.

If you’re looking for support, have you checked the FAQs on this forum? It might have something useful.

Does your plan include hotspot data? A lot of prepaid plans don’t. Also, I noticed roaming is turned off in your screenshot.

My friend and I have the same sim and plan. His hotspot works perfectly, but mine doesn’t.

@Devi
Are you using the same phone model? Sometimes carrier settings don’t load correctly.

He has an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and I have an iPhone 15 Plus. Does that matter?

It might. Some carrier profiles don’t sync well with newer models. Have you tried entering the APN manually?

Off-topic, but how does your iPhone show ‘Mobile Service’ instead of ‘Cellular’? Is it a regional thing?

Set your phone to English (UK). That’s why.

It shows ‘Mobile Service’ because I bought it in India.

Interesting. Mine’s from UAE, and it says ‘Cellular’. Seems like it’s based on the region.

@Ren
Yeah, that must be it.

I set mine to English (India), and it says ‘Mobile Service’ too.

Maybe the VPN is causing the issue?

I turned off the VPN, but it’s still not working.
