I just wanted to share how much I’m loving my new iPhone 16 Plus, especially because this year feels so different for me. To give you an idea: I’ve bought every new iPhone since the 3G (except for the 4S and 5S), and I always went for the high-end Pro or Max models. But this time, everything changed.
Apple finally gave us a real pink iPhone! Not that faded, rose-looking colour from before, but a proper pink that stands out. It’s stunning, and I couldn’t resist. Plus, the 16 Plus has the same display size as my old Pro Max, so I didn’t feel like I was downgrading at all. The 120 Hz refresh rate? I always had that turned off to save battery anyway, so I don’t miss it.
Honestly, I don’t miss my 15 Pro Max one bit. The extra camera? Totally unnecessary for me. I don’t need pro-level features when all I do is use my phone for social media. Spending extra money for features you rarely use doesn’t feel worth it.
Every time I look at this phone, I feel so happy. It’s lightweight, thin, and the pink finish just makes me smile. It reminds me of iconic designs like the iPhone 5 and the Jet Black iPhone 7. I know some people say the 16 looks ugly, but I completely disagree. This is the most beautiful iPhone I’ve ever owned.
I’ve realised I don’t need the Pro Max anymore, and the line between it and the regular Plus model has never been closer. My goal is to keep this phone for at least three years… unless Apple releases another pink iPhone next year.

I did the same thing! I went from the pink 13 to the pink 16, and the old pink honestly looks white next to this one. I’m planning to keep this phone for years unless Apple makes another pink. I got a clear glitter case, and the pink shining through is just gorgeous. And yeah, the Pro features never felt useful for me either.
I wasn’t a fan of the vertical camera design when they first switched from diagonal, but after seeing the new colours in person, I’ve changed my mind. The extra detail around the cameras gives it a 3D effect that’s really cool. The pink is especially striking.
