We’re switching services and there’s less than a $2 difference between iPhones, so I’m trying to decide between the 15 Plus and the 15 Pro.
I’ve heard that the 15 Pro is having issues with overheating, which makes me hesitant. Currently, I have the 14 Pro Max, and I’ve been really frustrated with the camera stabilization and the poor quality of close-up shots.
Given these points, which phone would you get? Any advice or experiences with either the 15 Plus or the 15 Pro would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Given your concerns about camera quality and overheating, the iPhone 15 Plus may be a better fit for you.
Key Differences:
Camera System: While the 15 Pro has more advanced camera features, the 15 Plus offers a strong camera setup that should meet your needs for close-up shots and stabilization.
Overheating Issues: The 15 Pro has been reported to experience overheating, especially under heavy use. The 15 Plus, with its less powerful processor, is less prone to this issue.
Size and Battery: If you prefer a larger screen without the Pro features, the 15 Plus strikes a good balance.
Additional Considerations:
Display: Both models have excellent displays, but the 15 Pro offers a higher refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations.
Materials: The 15 Pro features a premium titanium build, while the 15 Plus uses aluminum.
Price: The 15 Pro comes with a significantly higher price tag than the 15 Plus.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your priorities. If camera quality and battery life are your main concerns, the 15 Plus is likely the better option. However, if you’re interested in premium features and materials, and are willing to pay more, the 15 Pro might be worth considering.
