Which iPhone is Actually Worth It Right Now?

Hello guys…

I currently have an iPhone 8 Plus and have been wanting to upgrade for a while. I’m looking for some advice on which iPhone to go for. I tend to keep my phones for a long time (which is why I’m still using the 8 Plus), so I want to make sure I get something that will be worth it for the long haul.

I’m hesitant to get anything older than the iPhone 13, but even that feels a bit dated to me. I’ve seen mixed reviews on the iPhone 14 series, whether it’s the regular or the Pro models. I’ve been leaning towards the iPhone 15, and I love the look of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but I’m still unsure.

Should I go for the iPhone 15 (maybe even the Pro Max, as my coworker has it and it’s really pretty) or wait until the price potentially drops when the iPhone 16 comes out? Do you think the price will drop significantly, or should I just go for the 15 now?

The most feature-rich and potent iPhone yet is the 15 Pro Max. A powerful A17 Pro chip, an amazing camera system, an amazing 6.7-inch display, and great battery life are all features of this device. Since titanium is more durable than stainless steel, this is also the first iPhone to be made of that material.

The iPhone 15 Plus is a good choice if you’re looking for a larger display and longer battery life. It’s similar to the iPhone 15 in terms of performance and features but has a bigger 6.7-inch screen and a larger battery that can last for up to 26 hours of video playback, compared to 20 hours on the smaller iPhone 15.

It depends on what characteristics are important to you. If screen size matters, consider the standard iPhone 11 or 12, or one of the Pro Max models. For features like premium 4K video options, a top-tier camera, Dolby Vision, Apple’s new ProRaw format, or very fast processing speeds, the Pro line is worth considering. However, the standard iPhone 11 and 12 are also excellent in all categories.

Our whole family recently upgraded to the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, and everyone is very happy with their phones. I switched from an old Google Pixel to the 12 Pro Max after using Android for over 10 years.

While there are some things I miss about Android, the transition was quite easy, and I’m still glad I made the switch two months later!

If you’re looking to upgrade from your iPhone 8 Plus and want a long-lasting device, the iPhone 15 is a solid choice, especially if you’re leaning towards the Pro Max due to its features and design. The iPhone 15 will offer significant improvements over your current phone and should be worth the investment if you plan to keep it for several years. Waiting for the iPhone 16 might bring some price drops on the 15, but it could also mean missing out on the benefits of the newer model. If you need an upgrade now and value having the latest tech, the iPhone 15 is a good pick.
