What Triggered Siri to Suggest I Check In with My Ex?

I just had a strange experience with Siri that I can’t quite figure out. I was using my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and out of nowhere, Siri suggested that I start a check-in with my ex. The thing is, we’re currently no contact, and this has never happened with any of my other contacts.

I didn’t even know that this was a feature on the iPhone. Is it possible that Siri picked up on something in my messages or calendar that triggered this suggestion?

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Thanks :blush:

Siri knows… they are getting back together

There’s a setting in the developer tab that lets Siri give suggestions on the Lock Screen. However, it often suggests using a shortcut for something I’ve just done myself, which is pointless. For example, my phone asked if I wanted to check in with my lawn guy right after I had already done it.
