What happened to the off mode

I use it at home in bed. Other modes create white noise when it’s really quiet

That makes sense. I’ve never had a quiet place, so ANC has always helped me when I’m in bed

I can’t get the standard AirPods Pro to fit right for a seal, so I had custom inserts made. But getting them in and out of the charging case is tricky and wears them down. I’ve solved the charging issue with a special cable, but the battery draining when not in use is frustrating. An off function seems basic for any battery-powered device

Battery lasts twice as long when the off mode is on

My AirPods Pro gen 1 has mic issues with ANC. I hear noise no matter what mode I use. But when I switch to off, they still work. My gen 2 is starting to have a similar problem, which worries me

Why are you so lazy

This is due to the new Hearing Protection Features. You can re-enable it in Settings

Remember the time you couldn’t use the forum search function

I usually listen with one earbud, and I swear I could use that earbud in normal mode before, but now it’s always in transparency mode. Can’t figure out how to switch it off

Same here, it’s really annoying

You can enable it at the bottom of settings

I have AirPods Pro 2. The Off Button is available. Didn’t realize this button could turn off in settings

Weird, I still have the off mode

What AirPods do you have? This only affects Pro 2

I have AirPods Pro 2. The off button was never gone. I just didn’t know that there’s an option to deactivate in settings
