I keep watching videos where people say iPhones barely change each year. What do you feel is missing? What would you add to make it better?
No more camera bump! Just make it flat, add a thicker battery if needed, and keep the design simple.

Haven’t plugged my iPhone into a computer in like 10 years.

I tried it recently just to add custom ringtones, but it’s such a hassle. Ended up keeping my phone on do-not-disturb most of the time anyway.
Hardware ideas: Get rid of the notch and dynamic island, make it thicker for a bigger battery, use rubberised plastic for better grip, and put the buttons on one side. Also, bring back a physical fingerprint scanner and make the phone flat so it doesn’t wobble on a table.
Software fixes: Copy Android’s notifications, let us customise widgets fully, add multitasking/split-screen, reduce unnecessary clicks, fix the keyboard and alarms, give us a proper do-not-disturb mode, add a clipboard manager, and let us change notification sounds.

I’ve got the iPhone 15 Plus.
Bigger battery, at least 24MP for all cameras, and a lens just for macro shots would be awesome.
Adjustable keyboard size, a better notifications system like Android, and a more functional file manager. I recently switched back to iPhone from Android, and I miss these things. Also, proper volume controls and better cursor movement when typing would be nice.
They should add better chips for music playback so we can listen in top quality over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Higher megapixels, better telephoto zoom, and a proper macro lens. Cameras could use an upgrade.
It’d be amazing if they could hide Face ID and the camera under the screen. Also, make the back cameras flat so the phone doesn’t rock when you put it down.
Bring back fun and creative colours. Everything looks so dull now.
Make Safari faster.
Let us use landscape mode across the whole system.
Get rid of the on-screen camera control button.
