You could download all the apps you’ll need and store all your photos and videos in their original quality. It might seem like a lot now, but slowly, that space will start filling up.
I’ve never really needed 512GB, to be honest. I switched to 256GB, and I feel like I’m finally getting my money’s worth. Maybe I’ll go back to 512GB if apps and photos start taking up more space in the future, but for now, I don’t really need that much storage.
@Ridge
I just upgraded from 64GB to 256GB and I can’t imagine filling it up anytime soon. I installed all my usual apps (had 63 out of 64 installed before the upgrade), and I’m still only using 48GB. I could have gone with 128GB, but I wanted the iPhone 16 Pro and bought whatever was available. The extra storage gives me peace of mind though, so I’m happy with it.
Just remember, if you fill up your phone and want to upgrade later, you’ll need a device with enough space or use iCloud. Personally, I prefer to manually back everything up to my PC.
