I got a notification on my Apple Watch at 3:50 am saying that my dog’s Instagram account went live, but I was asleep at the time. My phone was on sleep mode, so I guess that’s why the notification came to my watch. The weird thing is, I’ve never done a live on that account, and when I checked both Apple Screen Time and the Instagram archive for lives, there was no activity at all.
Has anyone experienced a glitch where Instagram says you went live but you didn’t? Or should I be worried someone else accessed my dog’s Instagram and somehow bypassed two-step verification? Haha.
Happens to me all the time. When I turn off my watch and then switch it on the next day, I get notifications from the previous day that were sent while my watch was off. Nothing to worry about.

I get that, but the thing is, that account never went live. It’s my account ><

Seems like a weak way to get people to check out your Insta tbh.
Lol, it’s my dog’s Instagram of 10 years. I’m not trying to embarrass myself for a couple of followers for my Jack Russell. You must be a glass-half-empty kind of person, huh?
