Today’s the day… 1000 day streak achieved

After my marriage ended, I decided to make some big changes. I stopped drinking alcohol (it’s been 3.5 years now) and focused on my health. My weight has dropped from 110kg to around 85kg, and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for 25 years. My Apple Watch has been a huge part of this journey. I’m currently using a Series 10, and my favorite features are sleep monitoring and Vitals.

My daily goals are Move 2800Kj, Exercise 40 minutes, and Stand 12 hours. I’ve closed all three rings every single day. Cheers to progress!

My weight is down from 110kg to ~85kg currently, and my overall health is the best it’s been in 25 years. My watch has definitely been an integral part of this journey for me. Currently, I have a Series 10—my favorite new features are sleep monitoring and Vitals.

I went from 112.5 kg to 94 kg in the past 4 months because I was tired of being out of shape. The watch was definitely a big help. Seeing daily progress kept me motivated.

We’re in a similar boat. My marriage ended, and I made some changes. It’s been 37 months without alcohol, and I’ve gone from 110kg to 75kg. I hit the gym 5-6 times a week, and my Apple Watch, rings, and metrics have been key. They help my ADHD/OCD—I love setting and hitting targets. I started with a Series 4, upgraded to an 8, and now I’m eyeing an Ultra.

I’m currently 8 days into a personal challenge of running 5km every day in February.

Awesome! Cutting alcohol made a huge difference for me, especially for my mental health. I briefly got down to 78kg but couldn’t maintain it, so I’m aiming for 80kg. Running 5km is amazing—I can’t run, so I stick to walking. I have a treadmill with a TV, and that’s been key for me. Keep up the great work!
