They’ll swap buttons in the next watchOS, then switch them back, then revert.
I won’t even bother remembering it, =)

Vibes of ‘you snooze, you lose.’
I just recently learned this. I was sure I had tried both buttons years ago and thought both turned the alarm off, leaving me to groggily tap the on-screen snooze button on my tiny S6 like a chump.
But even better is the double-tap to snooze on newer models
Only double-tap snoozes it for me. Either button turns off the alarm. S10 watchOS 11.0.1.
And if you cover your watch with your palm, it’ll mute it. But it stays muted… which is actually the worst feature, isn’t it? Because then you don’t wake up.

You could create a shortcut to speak the time when the alarm is snoozed.
@Pax
I could! But the point of my watch being my alarm is not to wake up my wife, haha.

Hi, what do you mean by this comment?
I’d love an action that speaks the time when my alarm goes off in sleep focus.
@Cliff
There is a voice called Whisper if you set the action language to United States. It speaks in a whispering voice.
