I’ve always been an Android fan, ever since my first phone (except for a Nokia Lumia). I’ve been using Android my whole life and stuck with Sony for the past seven years… but it’s finally time for a change.
Wait until you get a Mac to go with your new phone… it changes everything.

I have both a MacBook and an iPhone… not really mind-blowing. The syncing is nice, but is there something I’m missing?

I play way too many games to switch to a Mac… at least for now.

You’re spending a lot of time on gaming when you could be doing other things. MacBooks are called ‘Pro’ for a reason.
@Colby
I use SolidWorks, and I’d have to jump through hoops to get it running on a Mac.

Fair enough. What I meant is that a PS5 with a big 4K screen is a better choice for gaming. Macs seem deliberately made for work, not games. I love Fortnite and FIFA, and I used to play CS back in the day, so I get it.

If you need a laptop, MacBooks give you the best value… great performance, long battery life, and solid build quality (Windows laptops break too easily). But yeah, PCs are better for gaming.
@Ira
I use an Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 because I need to run SolidWorks often. The build quality isn’t quite MacBook level, but it’s still good.
@Ira
MacBook compatibility is a mess. Until they get proper Windows emulation, it’s useless for me. I need to run car diagnostic tools and other software that just won’t work on a Mac.
I made the switch too. Loving it so far. Still figuring some things out, but I guess that takes time.

Check out the Tips app. Hardly anyone uses it, but it has a full user guide and loads of useful info.
@Ira
Agreed. The Tips app is underrated. I’ve been using Apple for years and still find new stuff in there.
@Ira
Thanks! Also, I have a few questions. How do I get predictive text to work in every app? It only shows up in some. And is there a way to make my display look more colorful? I switched from Samsung, and the iPhone screen looks kind of dull in comparison.
@Finn
Search ‘display’ in the Tips app… the answer is in there. I’d rather help you figure it out instead of just telling you.

I still don’t get it… why does predictive text work in some apps but not others? Does it learn over time? Feels like it does, because as I type, new words start showing up.
What case is that? Looks really nice. Is it grippy?

Looks like a Peak Design case.
