Switched from 14 Pro Max to 16 Pro... Was it worth it?

I upgraded from my iPhone 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro. I’m really curious if anyone here has made the same switch and what your thoughts were on it? Would love to hear about the experience.

Why did you switch, just for an upgrade or anything technical?

My 14 Pro Max was at 82% battery health, and I was thinking of replacing the battery, but then I got a solid discount on the 16 Pro and a great exchange deal. I liked how the 16 Pro felt in hand and the smaller size. It’s much easier to use, especially one-handed. Plus, the weight is lighter.

Thanks - enjoy your new beast.

Thanks you sir

I am getting my 16 PM on Wednesday after being on Android since replacing my iPhone 5. Is 82% battery health a bad thing? Not being sarcastic, I’m just really out of the loop on Apple stuff.

It wasn’t too bad, but the screen-on time was lower. I was getting about 6-7 hours instead of 8-9 like I used to.

@Nyx
Ok, is there really a big difference between 100% and 82%? Like how many hours difference are we talking? Sorry for all the questions and congrats on your new iPhone .

It’s not too big, really. The drop was around 1-2 hours of screen-on time.

@Nyx
Ok appreciate it man! Enjoy the new beast .

What made you go smaller this time round?

The size and portability were the main reasons. The 16 Pro’s smaller size is just easier to handle, especially one-handed. Plus, the weight is much less.

@Nyx
Oh, so you’re done with big phones now?

Ha ha, maybe yes

Mophie Juice pack! It’s $100 but it’s got a built-in battery. My 16PM lasts almost 4 days with it. Much thinner than older models too.

Thanks for the recommendation, will check it out.

Case suggestions: I got a Ryan London leather case. It’s beautiful and sturdy. For a hard plastic case, Otterbox Symmetry is durable. I switched from 14 PM to 16 P and love the size change.

Thanks for the suggestions, same here. The size and portability were my main reasons for switching; the 16 Pro is more comfortable and lighter.

Please tell me it’s natural titanium.
