A few months ago, I got a Realme 12 (8GB RAM, 512GB storage, 4G), but it started lagging badly just a week after I started using it. It happens when playing games and even with simple tasks. I’m thinking of getting an iPhone 15 (128GB is enough for me). Should I make the switch? Would appreciate some advice.

I mostly use YouTube and browse this forum, and the battery has been decent for me. But it really depends on how you use your phone.

For your usage, I’d suggest the iPhone 15 Plus. Better battery life.

You might be fine with the iPhone 14. If you don’t mind 60Hz, it’s a good option too.
I just got the iPhone 15 a week ago, and I’m happy with it so far.
I have the base iPhone 15, and I love it.
Go for it, you’ll like it.
My friends love their iPhone 15. I prefer the 15 Plus for the bigger screen and battery life. I manage fine with 128GB by regularly clearing photos.
I wouldn’t recommend it. I bought one 5 days ago and had to resell it because Apple doesn’t allow returns where I live. The OLED screen gave me eye strain, dry eyes, and headaches after just 30 minutes of use. If you’re sensitive to PWM (screen flicker on OLEDs), it might be a problem. If you’re in the US or Canada, at least you can return it if it doesn’t work for you.
The iPhone 15 is worth it. Coming from your current phone, you’ll notice a huge difference.

Yeah, it’s worth it. Just compare the base model and Pro version to see which fits your needs better.

I bought the iPhone 15 right after launch, and it’s been great. Battery lasts me all day, and I use my phone a lot. Highly recommend.

If you’re going for the 15, try to catch a good deal. Discounts pop up pretty often.
