Should I keep using iCloud or not…

I pay for 50Gb but only use 5.7 Gb. I have a domain and a personalized email I hardly use. Should I stop iCloud+?

Thanks but I want to hear why others find iCloud useful. Why not use OneDrive or NAS? What makes iCloud worth keeping? That’s what I’m hoping to discuss here.

@Bennet
iCloud is mainly for syncing and connecting Apple devices. Your data is easily accessible from all your devices. For people with multiple Apple devices, iCloud works well.

For those with just an iPhone, iCloud can back up your phone (and iPad). But remember, if data is already in iCloud because of your settings, it won’t be part of the iCloud backup.

Check out the iCloud user guide in your language. It’s simple to lose data if you don’t know the details.

@Bennet
iCloud is just easy to use. I like that everything is built into Apple. I don’t want to download a lot of different apps, that’s too much work for me.

@Bennet
iCloud is more convenient and works best within the Apple environment.

We don’t know your reasons for using it before. If you feel it’s no longer useful, just cancel it and move on. We can’t decide for you.

Just take more pictures.

Yes, for sure! I only have 1.4Gb of photos and videos.

I’m sticking with iCloud. I set up a custom domain with it and store all my documents and photos there. I pay for 200 GB.

Maybe.

Sure, you can stop that subscription. You’ll save enough money for a couple of beers.

Why not? What’s stopping you?

Why pay for something you don’t use, right?
