Should I go for iPhone 15 or 15 Plus?

I’m upgrading from Android and can’t decide between the two. Besides the battery life and slightly bigger size of the 15 Plus, what are your personal likes and dislikes about these models?

I went with the 15 Plus because I enjoy playing games and need the battery to last longer. The bigger screen is nice for reading and gaming too. I got it at a good price, but it can feel bulky in pants pockets. You get used to it though.

@Lane
Haha, my current Android is actually a bit bigger than the 15 Plus, so I think it would fit fine in my pockets. Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds like the 15 Plus is perfect for you then.

My girlfriend has the regular 15, and I have the 15 Plus. She regrets not getting the Plus. The battery lasts much longer, and the size is great for media. How much is the price difference where you are?

@Oli
It’s about $120 (10,000 INR) more for the Plus. I’m thinking if I’m already spending this much, I might as well add a little extra for the upgrade.

Yeah, for that price difference, it’s definitely worth it. I paid $170 more for mine, and I still think it was a good decision.

I upgraded from an iPhone 8 (battery health was at 49%, lol) to the 15. It’s great so far, but I’ve noticed my thumb barely touching the screen sometimes opens or closes things accidentally. That’s the only thing bothering me so far.

I went with the 15 Plus for the battery life, which was my main reason. But honestly, I miss the smaller size of the regular models. At home, I mostly use my iPad Pro, so I don’t always take full advantage of the battery. If I could do it again, I might go for the regular 15.

@Taylor
How long do you think the 15 Plus will stay good with updates? What’s the ideal storage if I want it to last 4-5 years? I’ll mostly use it for occasional media since I’m planning to get an iPad next year. My budget lets me choose between the iPhone 16 (128GB) or the 15 Plus (256GB with offers). Which would you go for?

@Koa
iPhones usually get 5-6 years of software updates, so you’re good with either choice. Personally, I’d go for more storage because 128GB feels tight these days. The iPhone 16 might have better features down the line thanks to its hardware. If those extras matter to you, go with the 16. Otherwise, the 15 Plus with more storage is a solid option.

This really depends on your preference. I prefer the regular 15 because I don’t like big phones. The battery on the 15 gets me through a full day just fine.

15 Plus all the way.

If you want a phone that fits easily in your pocket, go for the iPhone 15.

If battery life and a larger screen are important, the 15 Plus is better. If you’re more concerned about size and portability, the regular 15 might suit you better.

Is this a real question or just keeping the group active?

Small hands = small phone … big hands = big phone.

Small pockets = small phone, handbag = big phone.

I had a 12 Pro for over three years and just got the 15 Plus. The bigger screen and battery life are great. I have small hands, but it doesn’t bother me. I read a lot and play games, and both feel better on the larger display. Typing is also easier now.

@Ellis
Have you had any heating issues? I’ve seen some posts about that. Also, what colour and storage did you pick?
