No Wifi symbol on iPhone 14Pro status bar?

I just got my iPhone 14 Pro and restored my settings from my old phone. I have updated to the latest iOS version (16.0.2).

Although it says I am connected to my home WiFi, the WiFi signal is not on my status bar usually next to the battery.

I have tried restarting the phone, toggling airplane mode, deleting and re-adding the WiFi network, and even turning off the Private WiFi address, but the WiFi icon still does not appear.

It sounds like you’re experiencing a frustrating issue with your new iPhone 14 Pro. I’ve had similar troubles in the past with WiFi connectivity after updating iOS on my devices. One thing that often helps me is resetting the network settings entirely. It’s a bit of a hassle because you’ll need to re-enter WiFi passwords, but it can fix stubborn connectivity issues like this. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General, then scroll down and tap Reset.
  3. Choose Reset Network Settings. You may need to enter your passcode.
  4. After the reset, reconnect to your WiFi network and see if the WiFi icon reappears.

I’ve found that this usually does the trick when other troubleshooting steps don’t. Good luck, and I hope this resolves your WiFi signal icon problem

  • Restart your phone and toggle Wi-Fi off/on in Control Center.
  • Check online to see if others have the issue with iOS 16.0.2.
  • Reset Network Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings) - but be prepared to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords.
  • If all else fails, contact Apple Support.

Even without the symbol, you should still be connected to Wi-Fi
