Need Your Sizing Advice :)

I’ve had the Ultra 1 for 2 years now, but I recently decided I prefer a smaller watch for a more refined look. I recently got this Series 9 stainless steel in 41mm. Although I like a smaller watch, is this way too small? I’m worried I should have gone with a 45mm. For reference, I have a 7-inch wrist.

It looks small, but do you feel comfortable with it? If so, what else matters?

Yeah, it’s extremely comfortable and light; I barely feel like I’m wearing anything. Just wondering from an aesthetics viewpoint.

@Presley
Nah, you’re good; it looks cool anyway.

@Presley
What do YOU think of it?

I ask because that’s all that matters. Aesthetics are 100% subjective. You’ll get people who think it looks perfect and others who think it looks ridiculous. Both are correct and both are incorrect. Only you will know the right answer for you.

I honestly think the 41mm looks better!

Thanks for your vote :slight_smile:

@Presley
I like this way better.

I guess it just depends on your personal taste. Some people like bulky watches, others don’t. I don’t, especially with smartwatches.

Yeah, I agree. I don’t want it to look too small, but I love how a 41mm just disappears on my wrist. I barely remember I’m wearing it. With the Ultra, I was always very aware that I had it on.

I’m always a fan of smaller tech. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. I’d only say it’s too small if you literally couldn’t read the time or your notifications. But I think it looks sleek and great on your wrist!

Thank you! As an owner of a 13 Mini, I totally agree. Thanks for the perspective.

This is the way.

You could wear the bigger watch, but the smaller one looks good on your arm as well. If you wear it not too close to your hand, you could have the crown on the right side without accidentally pressing it.

Personal preference, I think. When I first got an Apple Watch SE, I thought the small one would suit me, but it felt too small in person, so I went for the 44mm.

I have thin wrists, but I like the S9 45mm. I even use a case with it.

@Niall
Yeah, that’s totally fair! I wore the Ultra for a long time and didn’t mind it. It’s way easier to type on too. I’ve got a very average wrist, so I’m sure it could go either way, but I just want to make sure it doesn’t look like a child’s watch, lol.
