I actually thought the glass and aluminum combo on the 4/4S looked really cool. But I remember being so excited when I got my 8 and seeing that shiny glass again
Didn’t make as big a jump as you, but I went from the XS Max to the 16 Pro Max just yesterday and loving it already… enjoy!

Battery was under 80 percent, so I was charging it constantly. Almost decided to replace the battery but it was starting to get slow too… zero regrets upgrading now

Sounds like the upgrade was worth it then! My 8 Plus wouldn’t make it through half a day when it was at full strength lol
I can relate… started with the iPhone 3GS, then went to Android for a bit. Now back with the iPhone 15 Pro Max from the S23 Ultra, and I’m happy with the choice. Loving FaceTime, Find My, and a battery that actually lasts

Great to hear! But I still can’t give up my S23 Ultra because of the zoom and how useful it is for work. But yeah, my iPhone is now my main… maybe other Apple stuff will sneak in eventually!

It came with the case 
I’m not really a fan, but the excitement of a new phone got me to agree when the salesman offered it. Plan on taking it off once my other cases come in!

Had to use mine bare for a few days until my case arrived… felt so slippery. Got a matte clear case, and now I can see the design while feeling safer
