Is this your first Iphone 15?

Since I use my phone daily for games and social media, I have to say I’m really pleased with my first iPhone. By the way, here’s a photo to make your day a bit more interesting.

This is the kind of post I can get behind, almost like a battery percentage post

@Olin
don’t charge till 100%

Is there a health reason for this? Why would you pay so much for a phone and then only use it to 90%?

I’ve seen a lot of people here getting really stressed if their battery hits 99% or 98%, which isn’t a big deal. At least it’s not below 80%! But all this talk about battery percentages seems to be driving people crazy. People even get upset about small differences, and it starts taking away from the enjoyment of using the phone. If you’re constantly checking your battery level, you might miss out on just using your phone. At the end of the day, you can replace the battery when it gets bad, so why stress so much? Just enjoy the phone.

@LizCampbell
I really don’t understand those people either

@LizCampbell
My iPhone 14 Pro Max is over two years old and it’s at 87%. I never followed the 80% limit, and I don’t feel any difference in its performance compared to when it was new.

So you’re saying it’s better to only charge it to around 80%?

Yes, try not to charge it all the way to 100%, and also avoid waiting until the battery is down to 30% before charging.

@Porter
Sometimes I wait until the battery has just 1% left

What games do you usually play on your phone?

I usually charge it before the battery reaches 30%. I try to keep the battery limit at 90%

@Ren
It’s your phone, you can charge it however you like. I personally don’t see the point in limiting the battery.

@Kai
How much do you stop charging at?
