Is this AirPods case any good?

I’m looking for a case for my new AirPods Pro 1. Found these ones called “Ljusmicker” on Amazon – they come with a cleaning tool, clip, and claim to be MagSafe friendly and water resistant. They’re made of silicone and priced pretty low at $8.99. Reviews are surprisingly good, with over a thousand sales recently. I can’t find much about them online though, and I’m not sure if they’re a trustworthy brand or just cheap quality.

Would really appreciate any thoughts or experiences with this brand. Here’s the link to their page if anyone’s interested: https://a.co/d/cHFUuJg

Your AirPods already came with a case, you know.

Wait, they do come with one?

They’re cheap but do the job. I’ve got similar ones on both AirPods Pro 1 and 2.

I’d stick with ESR or other well-known brands for cases.

Is ESR a Chinese brand?

I think they sell there, but I don’t think they’re based in China. Here’s the one I use, really solid and works with Pro 1s too: Amazon.com

Just got an ESR case for my AirPods Pro 2, and it’s fantastic. Sturdy with magnetic latches.

Check out dbrand’s Grip case. It’s a bit more but really protective and worth it.

I actually have that Ljusmicker case! It’s good and the cleaning tool is a nice bonus.

I’ve been using the Caseology Vault case from Amazon for years. Gives solid protection and looks sleek.

Amazon usually doesn’t allow scams, so it’s likely just a typical silicone case from a Chinese company. But be careful, silicone ones don’t protect much and tend to stick in your pocket.

Thanks for the heads-up! I don’t quite get the pocket thing, but yeah, I guess they could tear more easily. Might look at Tech21 instead.

@Zeek
Any hard case should do the trick.

Thanks for the suggestion.

@Zeek
Just an FYI, it’s only $1.50 on Temu… probably just an Amazon drop-shipper.

It’s okay for scratch prevention.

Mine’s pretty similar and doesn’t charge wirelessly through the silicone, though.

If you want a durable one, try Spigen Lock Fit – highly recommend it.
