Is the Ultra Watch Too Big for Small Wrists?

I know this forum has opinions about the Ultra on small wrists. I upgraded from the Series 9 yesterday before my marathon and I can safely say, the big size is worth the extra battery life.

Try tucking in that wristband, friend!

I tried tucking it in more, but setting up the ocean band was difficult. Planning to get a smaller band soon :sunglasses:

The Ultra in black looks so good :star_struck:

It’s the only color they had in stock, but I’m pleasantly surprised by it. I was planning on getting silver, but I think the black helps with the appearance of the size.

@Finlo
If it feels comfortable and you like how it looks, then maybe the size is okay :blush:

Wow, huge achievement! And the watch looks awesome.

Thank you :slight_smile:

Don’t think it looks bad on your wrist. Congrats on the marathon!

Thank you!

People who care that much about watch sizes aren’t worth the time. They’re not paying for it or using it, so just enjoy!

It looks great on you! Nice job on the marathon. Can you tell me what band that is?

Correct!

If size wasn’t an issue, I’d still use Garmins for marathons. The only reason I stick with my Apple Watch is for the better battery life. I’d rather have three weeks of battery from a big watch than a few days from a smaller one.

@Bin
I appreciate Garmin’s training features, but I use the Apple Watch’s smartphone features all the time. This was a happy medium between a smartwatch and a training watch for me :slight_smile:

The only functions you can’t get on a Garmin are the cellular and ECG, but Garmin has great features you don’t get on the Apple Watch, like stress score and recovery time. I like the cellular feature, which is why I stay with the Apple Watch, but if size wasn’t a problem, I’d prefer the battery life. Size is a big issue for me. That’s why I switched to the Apple Watch in the first place. The Ultra would look like a 1980s lunchbox on my arm.

Congrats!! Was it in Kona?

Thank you! Marine Corps marathon :muscle:t2:

I think you need a larger watch band.
