I’m thinking of ordering the iPhone 15 plus for 65,000 INR. Is that a good deal? Can I use it for the next 5 years? I’m also stuck between the blue and green colors. Can anyone help me decide?
PS: I am switching from an Android phone with 120hz, modded apps, and fast charging, but I think I can live without those features. AI features, 60hz display, 128GB storage, and slower charging don’t really matter to me.
Americans when they found out that the USD isn’t the only currency
It really helps to mention the currency, otherwise people will assume it’s the most common one. Also, asking in localized forums is a good idea. What’s cheap in Brazil might be really expensive in the US or EU.

Yeah, it’s silly not to mention the currency. For example, I saw the iPhone 15 PM above 48k in a country I visited, but I think it was pesos or something. It’s always better to specify.
I got the base iPhone 15 for 57k recently and love it so far. I came from a Samsung S21, and the display isn’t bad at all. Plus, the charging is better for me compared to Samsung’s fast charging.
Go for the plus, it’s even better and worth the price. Just remember, you only get a bigger battery and screen compared to the base model.
@Nicol
Hi! I have a 15 plus, and I’m trying to decide if I should do the following deal: I can give my 15 plus (1-year-old, 94% battery health) and $300 to get a brand new S24 Ultra, 12/256GB. What do you think?
@Finnley
If the S24 runs on Exynos, skip it. Even if it doesn’t, I’d still recommend sticking with iOS. If you’re after AI features, you can go for it, but I personally don’t see any advantage.

I thought the S24 Ultra only comes with Snapdragon. Exynos is in the S24 and S24 Plus.
@Finnley
Then you can think about switching if you’re not tied to the iOS ecosystem. The Snapdragon version will last longer, but iOS still has a longer lifespan overall.
