Is anyone else facing the same issue with the 16 pro series

I prefer my phone without a case, but I’ve found it annoying on the 14 and 15 models around the buttons. It feels worse on the 16 series. I can’t take a picture because I only have one phone

Am I the only one

I had the same problem with the 15 Pro. It’s just oil from your fingerprints, and how they show on the titanium. They wipe off easily.

I keep wiping them off and they come back in seconds. I wish I could forget about them

@Lin
Honestly, I use a case when I’m out, and I only go without a case at home. So, I don’t see the marks often. But yeah, that’s just part of having titanium and fingers.

It sounds like you’re worried about something minor. Just wipe it down.

I’ve never heard this saying before, but I think it’s great.

I’m totally using this now. That’s too funny

My grandfather said that to me when I was a kid and I’ve always remembered it.

People should stop making excuses for a design flaw in a high-priced item

You’re saying iPhones cost $2,000 but that’s not accurate. A 128GB 16 is $799 and a 1TB 16 Pro Max is $1,600. There are no $2,000 options.

iPhones are not luxury items. They are everyday devices that everyone has. I see people on the streets using them. I could walk into any carrier store right now and get one for free if I sign up. There is nothing luxurious about an iPhone.

I don’t see this as a problem. Who cares? Every iPhone I’ve had has been like this. My 12 Pro looks just like this picture, and it’s easier to see than on my 16 Pro when I hold them together. I guess it’s because my 12 Pro is lighter compared to my 16 Pro which is black.

@Kai
I had a purple 14 Pro and now a natural 16 Pro, and it looks the same.

I understand, but I can easily wipe it off with a cloth. I also have the 16 Pro in natural.

@Kai
I have the same issue with my 13. Is this heading toward an oxidation problem?

You probably should’ve bought one of the lighter colors; they show less of these marks.

I have the natural 16 Pro, and it’s quite noticeable.

Yes, they still show, but much less than the black or blue models from the 15 Pro series.

Everyone’s skin is different. I always use a case, so I don’t have this issue. I’ve used a case since the 6S Plus up to the 16 Pro Max.

You might want to wipe your phone down every night to avoid this.

That’s been my experience with Apple’s darker finishes. My work MacBook is dark and shows everything, while my personal one is aluminum and doesn’t show anything. My last iPhone was dark titanium and looked like this, but I switched to the natural titanium 16 Pro this year, and it shows much less. I just accept this tradeoff because I really like the dark finishes, but they show oil and scratches a lot more.
