Is there a chance to purchase an unlocked iPhone on Black Friday? I am aware of the $50 Best Buy discount for the 14 and the Apple gift cards that are available. I am in the market for my first iPhone, therefore I am not familiar with the Black Friday deals.
When I bought my first iPhone, I was in a similar situation and found that Black Friday is a great time for deals. While Best Buy offered a $50 discount on the iPhone 14 and Apple had gift cards available, I also discovered that many retailers offer deals on unlocked iPhones during the holiday sales. I kept an eye on promotions from major retailers like Best Buy, Apple, and even carriers, as they often provide special discounts or bundles. If you’re patient and check various sources, you can usually find a good deal on an unlocked iPhone during Black Friday.
For whatever reason, Apple does not immediately discount iPhones. Not with iPhones, though. 
They do with MacBooks, Apple Watches, Apple Pencils, AirPods, etc.
