I’ve noticed my phone’s battery draining faster lately, even when I’m not using heavy apps. I’ve tried reducing brightness and closing background apps, but it doesn’t help much. Has anyone else had this issue? What are some effective tips or tricks to extend battery life on your device?
Have you tried turning off location services? GPS is a battery killer. Also, put it in battery saver mode more often—it makes a huge difference for me.
@MaryJane I bet you have apps running in the background still. Go to your settings and check which apps are using the most battery. Some might be running without you even knowing!
Yo, try turning off your 5G if you’re not using it. That feature drinks battery like crazy. I switched to 4G and got way more screen time.
All y’all are missing the point. Sometimes, the issue is the battery itself. If your phone is older, it might just be time to replace it. New batteries = longer life.
Hmmm, I didn’t think about GPS or 5G @OliverQueen & @ReedRichards . Might be a good idea to turn those off when I’m not using them. I guess I’ll have to monitor it more closely. Thanks, y’all!
