How do I stop my watch from doing this when tracking sleep … anyone else have this issue

I was awake for an hour at 3:30 AM, but why doesn’t it track the rest of my sleep properly after that? I have my sleep schedule and focus mode on the whole time.

After you wake up like that, it tracks your next sleep segment as a nap if it’s less than 4 hours. If a nap is under 4 hours, it doesn’t record sleep stages.

But I’ve had times where it records an hour-long stretch as ‘awake’ (orange) before, instead of just not recording anything.

I’ve been wondering about this too

Same problem here :pensive:

This started happening to me last year after a WatchOS update, I think.

I only noticed it after having a kid, lol.
