I can’t believe how quickly my phone’s battery health dropped. After 4 months, it’s already at 99%. Anyone else seeing this happen? Feels like Apple might be causing unnecessary stress with this whole battery thing.
It’s unfortunate that Apple puts us through this. The anxiety over battery health seems like something they could avoid.

Not really, I don’t think it’s a big deal.

I swear this forum is just full of battery health posts now. Seriously, just use your phone.
Guess it’s time for a new watch…

True that
@Eli
Same here, down to 90%. Seems like cheap batteries.
@Eli
Not bad, you’re just 57 cycles short of your 90% target.
I can’t stand these battery life posts anymore.
Mine’s at 98% with only 89 cycles. My 14 worked so much better, I regret getting the 15.

My 12 Pro is still at 90% even after a bit of use.

It depends. My phone didn’t hit 99% until 150-160 cycles, and I got it in March. It only happened in November.
That’s really bad, isn’t it?

Yeah, the heat in my country’s unbearable right now. Looks like I’ll need to start saving for a replacement next fall.
I read somewhere that Apple used cheaper batteries in the 14s and 15s to save costs. A lot of people who got their phones when they first came out are already at 90%. If I don’t replace my phone next fall, I’ll have to pay $100 for a new battery.
@Wilder
I don’t remember if mine (15 Plus) was at 90% that quickly, but I’ve had it since September 2023. Maybe I got one with better batteries than you did.
@Kei
Sad but true… what can we do
Aww, poor guy. Maybe try Apple therapy? Go to an Apple store and book an appointment with the genius bar.
