I use my phone all the time for games and social media, and I have to say I’m really happy with my first iPhone.

This reminds me of those battery percentage posts that make me laugh.
@Oren
Don’t charge it all the way to 100%.

Why not charge it fully? You spend so much on these phones and then don’t use their full battery. It’s kind of wild how people are obsessed with battery percentages. Folks get upset over it being 98% or 99% instead of 100%, which isn’t bad at all. It feels like this focus takes the fun out of enjoying the phone. Batteries naturally degrade over time, and that’s okay—you can always replace it later. Just enjoy your phone without stressing about it!
@Kim
Totally agree, I don’t get the obsession either.
@Kim
Yeah, my 14 Pro Max is over two years old, and it’s at 87%. I never bothered with the 80% cap, and I honestly don’t notice any big difference in how it works.

So are you saying I should only charge it up to 80%?

Exactly. Don’t charge past 90%, and don’t wait for it to drop below 30% either.
@Hollis
Sometimes I wait until it’s at 1%.
What games do you play on your iPhone?

What’s your charging routine?

I charge it before it drops to 30%, and I keep the max limit at 90%.

@Brigham
It’s your phone, so do what works for you. Personally, I think setting limits is unnecessary. I paid for 100% battery, so I use it all.
@Nova
What percentage do you stop charging at?
