Finally switched to MacBook M4 Pro... how's the experience so far?

After using Windows and Intel-powered laptops for a decade, I’ve finally made the switch to a MacBook M4 Pro. The difference is huge. The way my iPhone and AirPods connect seamlessly with the MacBook is amazing. The display looks fantastic too. Now, I just need to get used to the Cmd and ctrl switch and Mac OS itself

before reading your comment I genuinely thought this post was being sarcastic about having severe screen damage from water or cracking… then i realized it’s really just a wallpaper of the mentally ill man

That’s certainly one way to word it.

wallpaper is great, can u share it…

You can swap cmd and ctrl if you like in System Settings. If you’re planning to switch back and forth a lot that might be worth doing. Otherwise, probably better to adapt.

What does it feel like? I have been using Windows since year 0 :sweat_smile: back in 1994 or 1995 with Windows 3.11. Around 2010 I had a system on my Samsung i3 laptop with Windows 7, Ubuntu and Snow Leopard and I was able to test the O.S. and I liked it a lot.

Now, for the first time in my life, I am waiting for a 16" with M4 Max and 48GB, very desperate for it to arrive.

@Lian
depends on your use case and personal preferences of course, but as someone who’s been die hard windows ever since i started using computers and switched 2 years ago - you’re never gonna want to go back

Make sure you wear rubber dude

Come on now
