I just wanted to see what the majority think about using phone cases or not. Do you use one? Why or why not?
90+% use a case

Which means 90% prefer to hide the phone’s design and feel like they’re using something cheap instead of enjoying the product they paid for.

I get this argument, but more than looks, it’s about comfort. iPhones are slippery with glass backs. A case helps me hold it better, making it easier to carry around.
@Fay
Well, it’s even easier to carry if you just put it in a bag and leave it there.

I’m a teacher and the desks are slightly tilted. It’s not a huge problem but things tend to slip off easily. A case helps keep my phone steady on the desk, especially since I use it there a lot.
@Zeke
You might need a case, but I think you’re the only one who does.

Well, most people keep their phones in pockets, not in bags.

They used to.
I get a case when I get a new phone. I use it for the first year, then stop using it. After a year, I enjoy the phone without the case, but I’ll use the case again when traveling or during certain times. I keep my phones for 5 or 6 years.
No case, but I have Apple Care+.
Case 100%. I just got mine two days ago and dropped it on the sidewalk as I was getting out of the car. The case took the hit and saved my phone from getting damaged.
The phone is so slippery. How are people using it without a case?

The Apple logo on the back gives it a bit of grip.
Case.
@Ellery
And you don’t have to worry so much about where you put it, especially on tile floors.
@Ellery
It’s better to enjoy the look of your phone and not ruin it with a cheap case.

I think the right case makes the phone feel better to hold. I actually prefer having a case because it prevents the phone from getting too slippery.
@Ellery
Why is it slippery sometimes? Do you put lotion on your phone?

If you sweat, it will get slippery. Cases are designed to give you grip and prevent that.
