Could this update be the best ever

@Cass
I’m thinking of selling mine later on and getting a better one with more storage and RAM anyway. I’m not a heavy user.

@Cass
Is this a fact? My 2016 8GB MacBook Pro is still going strong. I wonder how many Mac owners have SSDs die. Seems rare. Most replace simply because they want something newer and faster, not because their old laptop isn’t working or the SSD is dead.

Excellent upgrade. Did you have the MacBook 16-inch in your hands? I have the impression that it’s much bigger, but I’ve never held one.

I went to a store to try the previous 16-inch models. It’s definitely a big machine, but for me, the large screen makes up for it. You can comfortably work on this size and never feel limited.

I’m going from a 15-inch 2015 Pro Retina to the 16-inch M3 Pro with 18GB. I’m sure it will be a huge upgrade for me too. Congrats on yours! Wish I could afford that.

That brave soldier was holding it strong. That’s quite an update right there.

Me upgrading from mid 2012 i5 to M4 Pro MacBook 16 inch is going to be some update as well.

This year I finally retired my 2011 MBP for an M1 Pro 16GB, and even that felt like going into the future. A 2015 to a 2025 will feel like stepping into another dimension.

Please add that sticker to the upgrade too.

You wouldn’t slap a sticker on a Ferrari would you?

Of course, I would if the Ferrari is Apple.

Is there a reason you got those specs? What kind of work will you do on it?

It’s good to go big.

What’s the most exciting part of your upgrade? Is there a feature you can’t wait to use?
