Comparison: HEIF Max vs ProRAW Max

Hey folks,

I’m delving into photography and exploring the latest file formats like HEIF Max and ProRAW Max. Can anyone provide a comparison between the two? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each format in terms of image quality, file size, and compatibility with different editing software? Any insights or personal experiences with using HEIF Max or ProRAW Max would be really helpful…

Since RAW files contain a wealth of additional image sensor data, editing becomes more versatile.
Although they are still lossy, HEIF and HEIC files are preferable to JPEG. All of that excess data (that the end user doesn’t see) is eliminated by lossy codecs.

HEIF Max saves photos in a compressed file, resulting in a smaller file size (about 5 MB), but ProRAW Max produces bigger file sizes (10-12 times greater than HEIF or JPEG).
