Can’t find eSIM option on iPhone 14 Pro… help?

I’m trying to set up my sister’s iPhone 14 Pro that she got from a refurbisher in the UAE. The ‘cellular’ button is greyed out, and I can’t press it. She only uses an eSIM, but I can’t find the option to add one.

There’s a physical SIM slot, but that doesn’t help her. When I put in my physical SIM, the ‘cellular’ button becomes active, but still no option for adding an eSIM.

I’m new to iPhones, so maybe I’m missing something? Any advice?

Go to Settings > Screen Time > Restrictions and see if restrictions are enabled. Check if cellular data changes are restricted in the last group of options. If they are, either allow them or disable restrictions entirely.

If that doesn’t help, you might need to do a factory reset.
