I used to love my smart battery case for my iPhone X. But now that I have the 14 Pro Max, I’ve tried both the Apple Magsafe Battery and an Anker alternative, and I’m not a fan of either.
Personally, they keep getting stuck in my pocket, so the battery slides off when I take out my phone. Also, the battery moves around on the back of my phone when I use it, which is really frustrating. I do like Magsafe - I have three Magsafe charging stands and use them almost all the time for charging. But the Magsafe battery solution doesn’t work well for me when I’m out and about.
So, can anyone suggest a good battery case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max? I’ve seen a few on Amazon, but none from well-known brands. I remember Morphie used to make battery cases a few years ago, but it looks like they don’t have any for the iPhone 14.
Dude I loved the smart battery cases I have for my phones. If they created them again, I would buy one right now. That was something really irreplaceable. Sorry, I don’t have any recommendations; I just wanted to go down memory lane with you.
I haven’t come across any personal options and I’ve always been skeptical of external alternatives.
I would recommend getting a power bank, specifically a 20000mAh fast charging one. I find the MagSafe packs to be somewhat underwhelming, as they have a relatively small capacity and can only provide a limited amount of charge. The exact amount of charge will vary depending on whether you opt for the official Apple version or not.
The case has a battery, so if you use the iPhone, the battery charge will decrease, and the case will charge it, reducing the available charge. Without external charging, both batteries will eventually deplete their charge. To stop it from charging, remove the case.
