Because I sure can’t.
Ignore the screen and snooze it by pressing the crown.
Then when you’re awake, turn off the alarm manually.
That’s what I do.

Oh thank you so much! I always try to find the orange button on the watch. This will make snoozing so much easier. How lazy we’ve become with technology.
@Dakota
Thanks for your wonderful reply! TheGratitudeBot has been reading millions of comments recently, and you’ve just made the list of the most grateful users this week! Thanks for making this forum a better place
@Harper
Well, thank you for acknowledging that! And thanks to the author who made you thank me for my comment :))
@Dakota
I can see it, but I always have to press the button three times or something. This happens not only with the alarm but also with many apps on both the watch and the iPhone. It feels like the clicks don’t register. Either the touch sensitivity is much lower than on Android, or it’s stricter about how far you can click. After over 10 years of using Android before switching this year, I’m still struggling with this, but it doesn’t seem to be a common issue.
Edit: just now I failed to click the save button on Reddit, lol.
@Dakota
You just saved me.

Hahaha, yes!

If you have double tap turned on, it also snoozes the alarm! That’s what I do every morning

The sad thing is, I can stop the alarm in my sleep. I didn’t even know I could snooze with the crown; that’s probably easier for my sleeping self. Hitting stop is better since it doesn’t bother me again. I swear I need a way to not stop the alarm unless I’m actually standing up. Then I’d probably learn to sleepwalk!

I cover the screen, just like muting a phone call. Much less fine motor control is needed.
@Steele
Will this stop or snooze the alarm? There are times I thought I snoozed but found out three hours later that I actually stopped it.

Snooze. I just double-checked by setting an alarm for one minute in the future. Covering with my palm makes the watch and phone stop vibrating, but the alarm is still set to come back in 7 minutes or whatever snooze duration is.

This is the way.

I snooze it by covering the face with my hand.

I don’t know about alarms set only on the watch. But on iPhone, I just disable snoozes. And yes, I press the buttons.

My tired brain won’t remember in the morning though .
Yes.
