I’m dealing with a really weird screen issue… got a replacement screen, and now it’s acting up. Any thoughts?
Definitely looks like a fake screen… did you get it from a random repair place?
That’s a non-OLED screen failing on you. They’re cheaper, but this is the risk.
Yep, the screen is messed up.
I’d bet it’s a fake. Non-OLED screens don’t work well with these phones, which could be causing the touch issues.
That thing is slowly turning into a piano…
Are you sure it’s not an aftermarket screen? Looks like one.
This has to be the most obvious fake screen I’ve seen.
Might be time to just upgrade to a newer model…
Maybe try restarting? Worth a shot.
Yeah, I see some lines… could be a faulty screen.
It’s giving me piano vibes.
Fake screen… you should consider getting your money back from whoever sold it to you.
Replacement screen is low quality… that’s your problem.
Yeah, fake screen for sure.
Update: it powered back on, but the touch screen still isn’t responding. What now?

The person who posted this… you’ve got a non-Apple screen, like others mentioned. Whoever did your repair used a lower-quality LCD instead of an OLED. You’re better off trying to get a refund and going to a more reliable repair place.
Maybe try connecting it to iTunes and setting it up as new? I don’t like iTunes either, but it sometimes helps.
It’s almost like your phone’s telling you it’s had enough… time for a new one maybe?

An iPhone 12 isn’t that old though haha.
