If companies are going to force the parlor trick that is generative “artificial intelligence,” then yes, I do want it to be local. But honestly, I’d rather not have it at all.

I don’t care if the AI file is 5G or 50G, as long as people have to keep it locally, they’ll be fine. But not giving an option to delete it when they don’t use it? That’s unacceptable.

Have you considered that the people who want local AI are okay with giving up some storage space? But that’s not everyone, so they want their space back.

Interesting. My 16 Pro is only 5.9GB. My iOS is similar to yours at 12.03GB.
