The person who posted says Apple is expected to announce a big update for Final Cut Pro at the upcoming Final Cut Pro Creative Summit. Here’s what they think could be included:
Ability to edit spatial videos from devices like the iPhone 15 Pro and Canon EOS R7
AI-generated effects and auto-captions for videos
A ‘Magnetic Mask’ tool that isolates moving objects
The update might even be for both the Mac and iPad versions… Could be version 10.9 or maybe a whole new Final Cut Pro 11?

Definitely excited about more AI features… Right now, I use Descript for certain things before transferring files to Final Cut Pro, but would be great to keep it all in one place.

Yeah, keeping it simple is always better! What does Descript do?

Final Cut Pro Creative Summit? Isn’t this like, an unofficial event? When did Apple start making big announcements outside of their events? 2006 maybe? What’s happening here?
