I’ve been trying to spot the ‘Air’ on the MacBook Air, where is it?

^Do you remember that one time Sokka used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku, and you just made one.

…If you say lol like lawl, it’s a regular haiku, and definitely not a haiku if you say it like ell-oh-ell.

It might be time for Apple to start charging for new product wallpapers since they are all that seems to set new products apart from old ones
@Phoenix
Honestly, this iMac is solid at its core. It doesn’t get yearly updates, so it’s fine that when upgrades come along, it’s just a chip upgrade. It doesn’t really need more, maybe just an option for a 27-inch display.
@Phoenix
Because change is what matters in today’s world. A new thing must be new. Improvement isn’t enough; it must be flashy.
So go eat bricks.

Yep, that’s what I mean.
For those who can’t see it
I know the folks over at r/applesucks will give me a hard time, but Apple has some of the best designers in tech. It’s not just that the phones look the same each year.

The Apple Watch, with its faces and the launch of the San Francisco typeface, has inspired a lot of nice typography at Apple. These designs seem to grow from that, along with their return to the word hello starting with the M1 iMac. It’s exciting work that they pursue with great dedication.
Much of this might matter more to designers, and I think a lot of people might not get it. But Apple seems fine with that; not everyone has to care. That’s their design culture — Jony is good friends with Marc Newson, and when they hang out, they create unique pieces for auction and special commissions.
They can’t innovate anymore, huh
That pink one looks awesome, and with 16gb of ram as the base, I’d really want that one.
Is that really an easter egg though?

I think so too; it feels too obvious. Each one is abstract or subtle on its own, but put together it’s rather clear. It seems more like a design choice than an easter egg.
@Jensen
Yeah, well said! I feel the same way.
And honestly, I quite like it.

Definitely not an easter egg. Just wallpaper.
