Apple Care authorization hold

Just a little inquiry. After receiving a replacement iPhone, I shipped my original device back to Apple by express replacement. It was received six days ago, and they reported it to have fully repaired. Now that my account has been debited for the authorization hold, I am out of money. I’ve tried phoning, messaging, and visiting Apple Store since I’d prefer not to have to file a chargeback or go through small claims court, but they aren’t really helping. What options do I have in this circumstance?

In this case, your best option is to call your bank for assistance, especially if you are encountering severe delays. The bank can provide information on when the authorization hold is expected to clear and they may be able to speed up the resolution procedure.

Give the authorization a little more time to clear, and if it does so slowly, get in touch with your bank so they may check the authorization’s scheduled clearing date.

According to my initial receipt, I placed an order for five things, which should have cost me somewhat more than $50 total with tip. In some way, my customer added nine quarts of pricey ice cream to my purchase. What the heck? Has anyone else experienced something similar?
