This might sound weird, but I think Apple’s 3.5mm headphone adapters are some of their best products. They don’t just change the port shape; they have small DACs inside that are great for the size and cost. If you go with third-party ones under $50, they usually sound worse.
@Rex
Exactly! Cheap converters always mess with the sound quality.

I’m looking for something from a good brand. The reviews for these on Amazon seem pretty bad.

Most third-party ones are junk. I’ve used Apple’s adapters for years, and they’re fantastic.

Check this one: Amazon.com: Belkin RockStar Lightning Audio Cable and Charger for iPhone 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 - White. It’s from Belkin, and I’ve used it without issues. It’s worth spending a bit more to avoid problems.
@Riley
But the person who posted this doesn’t want a dangling dongle.

Oh, I get it now. A lot of the non-dongle options are experimental and not from trusted brands. Plus, they can be tricky if your phone has a thick case.
What exactly are you trying to do?

I just miss having the 3.5mm jack.

Just get the lightning-to-audio adapter and leave it attached to your headphones.
@Rain
But they also want to charge their phone while using it.

Get wireless earbuds. It’s 2025 now.
I think reputable companies don’t make these because it would strain the lightning port too much. That small cable is there to give flexibility and protect the port.
You already have the cable hanging, so why not leave the adapter attached to your headphones?

Do you not disconnect your headphones and roll them up?

I’m not sure what you mean, but you can leave the adapter on and roll them up together.

Yeah, you can roll them up with the adapter still attached.
