I’m looking for an easy way to transfer music from my iPhone to my Mac without spending money. I’ve heard about some tools, but I don’t know which one to use. Does anyone have suggestions for a free option that works well? Also, I don’t want to lose any songs in the process. Any help would be appreciated!
I’ve been using EaseUS MobiMover for a while, and it’s worked great for me. It lets you transfer all kinds of stuff, not just music. The best part is that it’s free for the basic version. You just need a USB cable to connect your phone and Mac, and it’s pretty straightforward from there.
@Jonah
That sounds perfect! I’ll definitely give EaseUS MobiMover a try. Do I need to install any drivers or something, or just download the app?

Nope, you just download the app, and it’s ready to go. You might have to tap ‘Trust This Computer’ on your iPhone, but that’s about it.
You could also use Apple Music to sync your music if you’re subscribed to it. It automatically syncs your songs across all devices without needing to transfer files manually. It’s a bit easier if you already have the subscription.
@Niko
I’ve been using Apple Music for this exact reason! It’s super convenient, and I don’t have to deal with cables or apps. Definitely worth it if you’re already subscribed.
@Niko
I don’t have Apple Music, and I’d prefer not to subscribe to anything new right now. But it’s good to know that’s an option if I change my mind!
If you want to avoid downloading apps, you could also use iTunes to transfer your music manually. It’s a bit old school, but it works. You just have to connect your iPhone, open iTunes, and drag the music files to your Mac.
@Blaze
I used to do that, but I switched to MobiMover because it’s faster and less glitchy than iTunes. iTunes sometimes gave me trouble, especially with syncing.
Another option you could try is syncing through Finder on Mac. It works pretty similarly to iTunes now. Just connect your iPhone, go to Finder, and you can manually move files to your Mac.
If you want something totally free without any restrictions, EaseUS MobiMover is probably the best. I’ve tried a few tools, and MobiMover was the simplest to use. Just follow the steps, and you should be good to go. Plus, it lets you transfer other files like photos and videos too.
@Dana
I’m sold on MobiMover! I didn’t realize it could do so much beyond just music transfer. Thanks for the suggestion, everyone!
