I have a job that runs on a pretty strict schedule. I want my Watch to buzz at me at specific times every weekday. I do not want an alarm that I have to turn off.
I tried using Reminders and they worked perfectly, on my watch… except that they clog up my phone and my calendar. It seems all of the notification settings on the iPhone, for the Reminders app, are not targeted at certain lists or specific reminders… it’s either all or nothing.
Thanks for any advice on any apps or other ideas!!
Look into a new reminder app and turn off the notifications on your iPhone but keep them on for your watch. I’m almost sure that the notification settings allow you to do this.

It definitely works. The only issue I’ve seen is with ‘time-sensitive’ notifications. But if you turn off all notifications manually and leave the one app on, it should be fine.
The person who posted this could also try a new reminder app for things that aren’t related to work. That way they can be sure the app works exactly the way they want it for more important reminders.
I have alarms set up like this. If you set the alarm directly on your watch using the clock app, it only goes to your watch. You can set recurring alarms for specific weekdays too. But if you set it up on your phone, it will go to both the phone and the watch.
Edit: Just saw the part about not wanting to turn it off manually – I’ll have to think about that.
No Shortcuts or Complications support, but once you set it from your watch at work, it will vibrate at whatever intervals you set, with no notifications or app interactions. It’ll add a widget to the top of your Smart Stack when the timer is running, in case you want to see how much time is left or stop it at the end of your shift.
