Anyone having issues with glowing corners on the screen?

Looks like the screen might have burn-in. Could that be it?

It goes away sometimes on black or other backgrounds. It’s like it turns on and off randomly.

That’s because the iPhone 12 has an OLED screen. When displaying black, the pixels are off.

@Colby
No, it’s not just that. It’s like something in the system is turning on and off. Right now, I’m in a dark room looking at my wallpaper, and the glow is appearing and disappearing.

Do you adjust brightness or switch between dark and light mode often? How does it look in light mode?

@Joss
Yeah, I change brightness often, but it looks the same in light mode.

That’s strange.

Is this about 9/11?

I think I’ll fly some planes… just kidding, of course.

I get this too on grey backgrounds.

Maybe it’s a hidden feature.

Is this related to time? Like, at 12pm or something?

Sounds like the green tint issue some iPhone 12s had. Unfortunately, you’ll need a screen replacement or a new phone.

That’s rough, mate.

Maybe Apple’s next update will fix it… just kidding.

That’s not a new feature. It’s probably from old screen adhesive or burn-in. I read this happens sometimes.

I think it might be something else entirely.

@Gentry
Honestly, I’m not sure either.
